Dear colleagues, clients, and friends,

After more than two decades of dedicated service at RBAC, and forty years in the energy industry, Bethel King, our esteemed Senior Director of Market Analysis has retired.

Bethel joined RBAC in 2003, bringing with her a wealth of experience from Phillips Petroleum, GPM, and Williams Energy Services. Her deep expertise in natural gas operations, marketing, and trading, combined with her technical acumen, made her an invaluable asset to our team and to the broader energy community.

Throughout her tenure at RBAC, Bethel played a pivotal role in developing and refining the GPCM® Market Simulator for North American Gas and LNG™, delivering personalized analysis and insights to clients across the industry. Her leadership in preparing the quarterly GPCM Base Case outlook and mentoring clients has left a lasting legacy. Bethel’s ability to bridge complex modeling with real-world market dynamics has helped shape the way our clients understand and navigate the energy landscape.

Beyond her technical contributions, Bethel has been a respected voice at industry conferences, sharing her insights on gas market trends and forecasting. Her passion for the energy sector and her commitment to excellence have inspired many.

As Bethel steps into retirement, we are pleased to announce that Scott McKenna and Rob Kachmar will be jointly stepping into leadership roles to continue RBAC’s GPCM base case release and market analysis efforts.

Scott brings a unique diversity and depth to RBAC’s analytical team, with experience spanning trading and analytics across Natural Gas, NGLs, Crude Oil, and Refined Products. With a background in Mineral Economics and advanced studies in Econometrics and International Economics, Scott has held roles in consulting, trading, and risk management. Since rejoining RBAC in 2019, he has led efforts to streamline modeling systems and enhance supply/demand forecasting and visual analytics.

Rob brings over a decade of experience in supply forecasting, asset optimization, and trading. He has been instrumental in RBAC’s quarterly release efforts, contributing deep expertise in infrastructure and market fundamentals. Rob also supports GPCM training and client advisory, and is a regular speaker at industry events.

Together, Scott and Rob will carry forward Bethel’s legacy of excellence, innovation, and client-focused analysis. Their combined experience and leadership ensure that RBAC remains at the forefront of energy market modeling and insight.

We congratulate Bethel on her retirement and welcome Scott and Rob into their new leadership roles. We are confident that the future of RBAC’s Market Analysis is in excellent hands.

Quick Brief – RBAC’s Users Webinar
