What to Expect at This Event
A focused morning program designed for natural gas and LNG professionals, utilities, producers, pipelines, traders, consultants, investors and other market participants. The format will include concise market-outlook presentations, a scenario-focused third session, audience Q&A, and time before and after the program to meet with RBAC staff and other attendees.
SESSION 1: North American Natural Gas Market Outlook
What will LNG exports, power-sector growth, data centers and AI, new pipeline capacity and changing supply fundamentals mean for the North American gas market? This session will examine RBAC’s latest GPCM Base Case outlook for production, demand, prices and basis, regional flows, storage, pipeline utilization and LNG exports. It will also highlight the infrastructure developments and market constraints that could have the greatest effect on regional balances.
SESSION 2: Global Natural Gas Market Outlook
This session will delve into key aspects such as gas prices, gas balance, LNG regasification, pipeline interregional flow, demand versus consumption shortfalls, LNG production, and gas storage dynamics using RBAC’s G2M2 Market Simulator. It will also highlight the ability to change input data, add entities and infrastructure, and utilize a rigorous optimization model, along with the latest integration with PowerBI. This talk will provide a comprehensive overview of the global gas market, equipping you with the insights needed to navigate and excel in this dynamic industry.
SESSION 3: The Next Phase of LNG Market Development: Commercial Evolution and Strategic Risk
The LNG industry is entering a period defined less by scarcity and more by complexity. Significant new liquefaction capacity is expected from North America, Qatar, and other supply centers, while buyers face increasingly difficult decisions around security of supply, contract structure, portfolio flexibility, and long-term demand uncertainty. At the same time, geopolitical developments, shifting trade relationships, and energy transition policies continue to influence investment decisions across the LNG value chain.
This session examines the commercial evolution for LNG markets, including the changing balance between long-term and short-term procurement strategies, the growing importance of political and regulatory risk, the outlook for emerging demand centers, and the commercial consequences of an expanding global supply base.
It considers the key choices market participants face in this changing environment, as they seek to assess and manage strategic risk while positioning to capture market growth and achieve competitive success.
