Los Angeles, California, September 12, 2012 – RBAC Inc. has acquired HPDI’s DI Desktop application to significantly enhance its current supply data as well as provide greater detail related to production and well-specific characteristics for all GPCM® licensees. This includes detailed well-level data for both the U.S. and Canada. RBAC is currently accessing and implementing HPDI output into its supply side development process for the GPCM database releases.
Reviewing and verification will continue during 12Q4 and 13Q1 utilizing the well-level data with specific focus on drilling, permits, completions, and other supply/production related analyses to further enhance the GPCM database. RBAC will also utilize HPDI’s quarterly update of their gas plant/refinery data service, which provides database access to Texas R3 gas plants and R1 refinery as well as Louisiana R6 gas plants and R3 refinery data. The addition of the gas plant/refinery database will allow RBAC to refine and expand upon analysis and NGLs attributes currently in GPCM and support development of future analytical tools.
RBAC Inc. is the leader in the development of energy market models, most notably the GPCM® natural gas forecasting system. RBAC provides its clients with state-of-the-art analytical tools and strives to continuously enhance these capabilities. RBAC expects DI Desktop to further these efforts while simultaneously providing additional baseline data and assistance for RBAC to launch and bring to market high quality, value-added analytical tools.
