Aaron Brooks is a highly experienced software engineer who has specialized in developing analytical tools and user interfaces since the early 2000s.
Mr. Brooks received a degree in Computer Science from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and began working full time for RBAC in 2003. He has been the lead developer on RBAC’s flagship software, GPCM®, as well as much RBAC’s other software, including GPCM’s graphical display system (GDS), Gas4Power®, and GPCM Viewpoints® since 2014.
In his time as technical lead, Mr. Brooks has implemented many improvements in GPCM, including multi-threaded execution, which allows GPCM to run scenarios in about 1/3rd of the time, and most recently the multi-file database feature, which allow users to store four or five full length scenarios (up to 200 years) in a single database set. He is always looking for ways to improve the user experience, be it in efficiency or by improving reporting functionality.
Aside from software development, he has been delivering technical support and training to RBAC clients to help them get the most out of its tools and models, helping to rapidly increase their productivity and value of their work.
